Soft and durable. I wear these to kickbox 5 days a week. Now underwear show. High waist. Very comfortable. Tip: best to wash (if really sweating) in white vinegar and an essential oil you like the smell of... They retain odor, but no more than any other gym pant with spandex/Lycra.
