Over the many years I have been purchasing these and similar panties from Hanes, I have watched the quality diminish. Once upon a time, there were covered waistbands and better binding on the leg openings, along with more substantial double crotches. Also, the fabric feels a bit thinner. They're still a good choice.

There's nothing wrong with the hipsters I bought, really. The sizing is off a little. But I was hoping they would be like my ooold pairs. These are not like them. My old pairs had a covered elastic band on the top and legs and were sooooo soft and 'forgiving'...almost like t-shirt material. PLEASE go back to that make and material. These are good but not as lofty as those. Those were also called 'hipsters' back then (about 5yrs ago) but the new hipsters fit NOTHING like the old ones. These fit more like bikinis almost. These just aren't what I was hoping for.
