Does what it should. I had a wooden porch door that kept sagging and had to cut off ends repeatedly to get it to fit right. Finally it was too much. I got a new door and one of these and the door fits perfectly with no sagging. Save yourself a lot of trouble and install one of these when you put in a new wooden porch door.
