Great work garment to keep you warm In between choices of a jacket and a long sleeve shirt. Here in the south, because of the severe swings in temperatures, you don't want to be stuck with a long sleeve shirt or jacket all day and this makes for the perfect transition in between the two and back again come evening time. I do like it. Very comfortable.

I live in North Georgia where we really only have cool winter weather and I have had many shirt jackets over the years, (LLB, CH, DT, etc) but this jacket should be an excellent value. While it may not be 12.0 oz , "Fire Hose" canvas, it is a good 6.5 oz canvas that appears will hold up well. I LOVE the taffeta lining as I am sick a tired of trying to stuff a flannel shirt sleeve down a flannel jacket sleeve and resulting in the shirt sleeve rolled up to your elbows due to friction! I am 5'10" tall, with a 43" chest and the Large is a perfect fit! I am honestly a little worried that washing this jacket might shrink it a bit to make it too small, but I will let the wife do her best in this regard. The quality of the garment is equal to many others that are twice the price. It is a. "Medium" weight jacket that will be perfect with either a T shirt or a shirt underneath, weather depending.
