So far, so good.

I work in Rock mines mostly, so I'm hard on boots. I prefer tall boots with a "sporty" sole(not you traditional hard/square type). These fit that description. They're lightweight compared to my normal 16" leather boots. They're ok while driving but my feet tend to hurt if I spend too much time walking in these. Changing insoles didn't help. My heel slips a bit by the end of the day but that me be a sizing issue. Overall, I like these. So far I haven't had any rips or tears. I do wish they sold these in all black.

Excellent boot

I have not had the chance to check on the waterproof capability yet of these boots, but they appear to be well made. Have been wearing them around the house and outside to get them broken in and they feel quite comfortable. I did apply some paraffin wax to the zippers to make them easier to pull up and down. Made a big difference. I did add some waterproofing spray to both the leather and nylon, just as an extra precaution.

Good boot

Got these for my husband for christmas. Fit very well and he really likes them. Got them more for keeping out snow and brush other than snakes. My only concern is that the zippers eventually may become a problem not really sure. But for the short time he's had him he really does like them.
