My First Brother Printer
I have always had HP printers but decided it was time for a change. This printer was easy to set up wireless and does a good job printing. I like the profile of the printer. It does take a little longer to start printing after giving it the command. One thing I do not like is that is printing a multi page document, when printing is finished, you have to reorganize the pages (first page to last). There may be a way to change this - haven't looked.

Efficient but could be faster!
There's much to love about the MFC-J985DW XL, except the speed, which is surprisingly slow for an office printer. I wasn't prepared for a printer this slow in 2017... That said, the ink is less expensive, more efficient, which counts for a lot... But can we improve the speed, please?
