Great Value Thick & Creamy Macaroni & Cheese, 7.25 oz

Easy quick prep for a thick, creamy dish. Just boil your water, drop the macaroni into the pan %26 cover with the lid, setting the heat on low. Simmer, stirring to separate the pasta, when soft %26 done, drain. Make your sauce w/half cup milk, 4 tblspns butter (plant based), %26 sauce envelope ingredients. Stir on low heat, then add the Mac until it's thoroughly mixed. I like to add a can of drained spinach or green beans to mine %26 I have enough for 3 meals. Very good product. They also make the original Mac%26 Cheese in spiral shaped macaroni.

Out of curiosity I tried this macaroni even though I never try powder-cheese boxed Mac n cheese. A blogger tried about ten kinds and said this was, hands-down, the best bang for your buck and tasted great. He wasn't wrong! It doesn't have that weirdly sweet aftertaste the Kraft powdered M%26C has, and for around 50cents, you CANNOT do better. I've purchased several boxed to keep in my pantry. I love the squeeze-cheese packet kind too, but I can save 2-3 dollars per box and be just as happy with this. Yay!
