Instructions
Beans are a natural agricultural product. Despite use of modern cleaning equipment, it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Sort and rinse beans before cooking. **Stovetop - From Ambient **Quick Soak: Rinse and sort beans in a large pot. For 1 lb. of beans (about 2 cups) add 6-8 cups hot water. Bring to a rapid boil and boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Cover and let stand 1 hour. Drain soak water and rinse beans. **Overnight Soak: Rinse and sort beans in a large pot. For 1 lb. of beans (about 2 cups) add 6-8 cups cold water. Let stand overnight or at least 6-8 hours. Drain soak water and rinse beans. **Cooking Directions: Add 6 cups of hot water to drained and rinsed beans. Simmer gently with lid tilted until desired tenderness is reach, about 1-1/2 to 2 hours.

these beans taste just as good as any other name brands but kinda expensive for a 20 pound bag beans use to be the cheapest thing for a meal now they are getting expensive to but i do recommend buying them buy the way buy a bunch of bags because the bean %26 soup lines will be coming back.

I often buy these 20 lb bags for my brothers who can't get these fresh beans. We were raised on pinto beans and dearly love them. Rural areas don't have choices like I do in the city. So I get the fresh beans at Walmart super center and get them to my brothers. They rave about how good they are and well worth the 180 mile trip to get them there.
