Nice Meaty Beans

Tis the season for all my favorite meals. These are usually turned into refried beans but we came up short on beans when we made ham and bean soup. I added some into the pot of northern beans. I actually liked the added flavor and the more meaty flavor these beans have.

The same pinto beans just better price

These are the same beans as the more expensive in every way except the price, beans are beans and i try to save every little bit i can here and there cause it adds up. I cook mine in the crockpot, let them soak overnight, then cook in chicken broth, onion soup mix with some bacon on low 8 hours. Great source of protein and the house smells so good when i get home

We use these to make homemade refried beans in the crockpot. Cook all day on high in water, strain the beans leaving a little water and use and emulsion blender. salt to taste and yummies for a few days. Best 1.00 deal and no unwanted toxic ingredients like the canned refried beans.
