anywhere I go or anytime I see a new brand of New England clam chowder I try it. I'm always trying to find the one that reminds me most of when I was a child skiing in Vermont coming in from the cold and getting you a couple New England clam chowder from the bar at the lodge and I have yet to find any that compare. but so far yours is the best tasting. and while it's not the one from my childhood so far it is the best store bought one I have found. add a couple of crumbled saltines into it and it's delicious.

Minestrone has spices and is a great soup base.

Really good and using two cans and some mixed vegetables plus left over beef will make a pretty good soup. You can extend it with pasta to make it go even further and just use it as a base for your recipe. i found one on the net and it worked just fine and I ended up eating it for lunch and dinner.
