Yes, I use it when I make home-made chili, but I also like making a yummy bean salad, with this and other beans, plus a little chopped onion, then squirt some Greek or Italian salad dressing on it. Recently, I've just been dumping the beans in a bowl, add some onion powder, salt %26 pepper, heating it up, and eating it for the health benefits. Very tasty, indeed!

I use Kidney Beans for my hamburger dishes. Not just "chili", but other dishes too. They are a great filler and the dark red beans taste so good in what ever I am making with hamburger. And I always buy Walmart brand as they cost less than brand name beans, and taste just as good!
