Changed Depth
Fan works well but as a cost reduction they changed the depth of the fan housing to 4" to save money so it won't stand upright. The solution- add feet (that always break) to stabilize it. The problem is the feet attach to the side that rests against the window screen. Now with the feet the fan can't rest against the screen decreasing effectiveness. Absolutely stupid cost reduction.

Weak motor burn out
I have bought two fans of this model from a different store. Both fans died after less than one month of use. Both motors burned out. I have had no issues with other Lasko models. Also, what the previous review mentioned is correct. The fan design is too narrow to stand up on its own during use. Feet need to be attached in order for the fan not to tip over during use, and the feet provided are fragile, prone to breaking.
