Cooking Instructions: In the microwave. Squeeze unopened pouch to separate rice. Tear 2 inches to vent at the top of package. Heat on high for 90 seconds. Cooking time for 2 pouches is 2 1/2 minutes. Microwave times may vary. Take care when handling and opening the hot pouch. Refrigerate unused portion. In the skillet: Gently squeeze the sides of the pouch to break apart the rice and pour contents into a skillet. Add 2 Tbsp. of water and heat. Stir rice occasionally until heated thoroughly. Serve immediately.

This Mahatma Ready to Heat Rice makes a great meal for me. The rice cooks in 70 seconds and I'll put coconut milk for added taste... And add my cooked chicken. Great Quick Meal. Cooking in the Bag is so Simple. Easy preparation, just tear a slit in the package. Slight loss of texture comparing to "freshly made rice" of course, but still has it's place. Will buy all the flavors.

I usually heat mine for an extra 10-20 sec. if needed but I've been in love with/this flavor rice. Great for tacos %26 more we make yum bowls %26 put all kinds of veggies and different stuff together with this flavor of rice. It helps when you're in a pinch and don't have 20min to wait to simmer rice. Kids love it, it's not spicy at all. I wish it was in a bigger size bag 🙂

I just discovered this rice, i normally dont like microwave rice and dont like cilantro but i wanted to try something different. Glad I read the reviews and decided to purchase, its so so good, the cilantro isn't overpowering, its buttery with just enough lime but not too much. If i had to change something it might be a tiny bit more salt but really its perfect as is. I made myself a Chipotle bowl and these are great for quick dinners and make ahead lunches. Im gonna stock up, this would be great with salmon or mixed with a can of tuna and a little lemon juice and garlic. So glad i found this
