Perfect!

I had a CO monitor that plugged into the wall outlet prior to this on and the thing just stopped working. It also was heavy and occasionally pulled out from the wall plug. I have none of those problems with this one. It's lightweight and battery operated so you don't need to use any outlet. It can be mounted on the wall or if you don't want to do that, it can just sit on a table in the room. So far it's working as expected.

Very happy with this purchase!

This was a replacement for another brand sold at another store (not a Walmart) that was horrible to even try to install. That one was returned as quickly as possible. I am very pleased with the price, features, ease of installation, and function of this product. Seems to work well.

Lucky Night!

I hardly ever leave reviews for anything, not a influencer, and not getting paid for this review, but I thought my recent experience was pretty important. I've had this model Carbon Monoxide Alarm since 2018. It is now 2025, with it never alerting me once of carbon Monoxide in my 1Bd condo for the past 7 years. I wasn't even sure that it was actually working as intended. Push button test indicated that it was working but how do you really know. Well, the other night, I woke up at 4:00am hearing a high pitched beeping. At first I thought it was my UPS (uninterruptible power supply) for my computers with a low or dead battery, as it sounded similar, which I had to replace the batteries in before over the years. Then checked my smoke alarm, it wasn't that either. Finally checked my carbon monoxide alarm, an it WAS the source of the beeping with the window panel showing 38 PPM. Thinking the battery was low, and I didn't smell anything, I checked the battery indicator that wasn't blinking red, I just reset the unit. After resetting, it started beeping again with the PPMs climbing back up to the same 38 PPM as before. As I looked around wondering what was causing the alarm to go off, I noticed that one of my stove burners was still on low/warm from the night before as I was keeping dinner warm then. My own very stupid mistake. I quickly turned off the burner, opened windows and doors to air out, and a few minutes later the PPMs began to drop on the alarm, and then finally dropped to 0. This could have turned into a much worse situation. Soooooooo, I know that this unit does work, and I'm so glad that it did after 7 years, and with the same 3 Kidde AA batteries that it came with. Not sure how accurate this unit is, but it did alert me, and I'm very grateful for that. I definitely trust this particular model despite other reviews that I've read here on this Kidde website. I actually just bought another one, with the exact same Kidde model. I'm hoping that it performs as well as my current one. Just wish the alarm was a bit louder or had a different alert sound to choose from. Either way, I'm very happy all is working fine.
