I use this for stock

GREAT addition to my stock pot supplies. Now I have 3, one of which doubles as a large canner. THIS particular one will work for pints and half pints canning jars, but is NOT large enough diamter for the quart jars (with the fold down style of lift that we all know and grew up with). Not a problem, I simply use as needed and since I am making stock, perfect for that. I also like it because it will easily work with a 'soon to have in the kitchen' induction cookstove.

Perfect gift!

I bought it for my mom and she LOVED IT! She told me that it is really easy to clean and not heavy. Just remember that you CANNOT use it on glass cooktops. But overall, it was the perfect gift.
