Grain Wood Furniture Shaker 2-Door Armoire, Solid Wood with an Expresso Finish

I am an experienced "put-it-together-yourself" furniture customer. I've done plenty of Sauder furniture in the past and have enjoyed that brand as well. I figured that, since this is made of real wood, it would be a slight improvement. I was surprised and thrilled to see that this is a vast improvement. Not only was the materials very lovely, but the construction is excellent! Some of the things I noticed that I think make a big difference... The drawer bottoms have a support bar in the center underneath, so the bottom won't fall out later. Usually I'm struggling with the bottoms of drawers in this type of furniture bowing under the weight of contents and the bottom falling out. Also, the back of the furniture, which is a light plywood (not cardboard) with veneer has a seam. They supply you with a special piece of plastic that slides between the 2 sides and so you never see that seam. The knobs, while perfectly functional, feel thin in my hand and also disappear against the wood, so I'm purchasing something fancier and more substantial, but that's my choice and doesn't reflect on the high quality of this wardrobe. I will add that I purchase the larger wardrobe as well (not from Walmart) and it's the same excellent quality. My husband commented that this furniture is so well built, we'll have to sell our house with it in it. It's not going anywhere! (You should also know that, perhaps because it's so well built, the boxes that get delivered are SUPER HEAVY! We emptied the boxes little by little from the front porch and brought the pieces up to the bedroom that way.)
