Instructions
To retain vitamins do not rinse before or drain after cooking. In a heavy saucepan, place two (2) cups of Canilla rice, one (1) tablespoon of Goya Vegetable or Olive Oil or butter, one (1) teaspoon of salt and four (4) cups of water. While stirring, bring to a boil. Then reduce heat, cover and allow to simmer until water is absorbed.

Love this rice, been using it for years and my nanny always used it making her “spanish rice”. It's the only kind I will buy. It always cooks up perfectly and stays nice and firm. I always wash my rice really good before cooking, add a little oil and salt to the bottom of the pan and put just enough water to cover the rice. Then top it with foil pressed down close to the rice and then put the lid and cook at the lowest setting only stirring once or twice to fluff it but not to much to avoid making it mushy. I've actually been adding a little garlic salt, italian seasoning and parsley and it's been amazing.
