Gorjuss Santoro Rubber Stamp-dear Alice

This set of Santoro Gorjuss girl and owl rubber stamps is beautifully designed and made with thick quality rubber and a nice sticky top that will adhere to any acrylic stamping block. The stamps were MUCH larger than I initially thought they would be. I wish that the sizes of each stamp in the set were listed in the sales listing. The doily frame stamp is VERY large, at 6 1/2" tall. So, if you're used to making 6" x 6" cards, you wouldn't be able to use the doily frame on the card without cutting part of the top or bottom off. You'd be stuck using a 6" wide by 7" or 8" tall card, which can get very pricey to mail. The rest of the stamps in this set don't really match. I don't understand why they put a button stamp in with the set. But, the smaller stamps size makes them versatile enough to use on scrapbook pages, and even on ATC cards for the smaller stamps. I also wish that the "santoro" logo wasn't etched into the rubber next to the main image. It takes away from the focus of the girl. I just wipe the ink off that part before stamping, but that can become a pain if I'm stamping several at a time to make multiple cards. I like that this one came with a sentiment, but for me, the sentiment is useless because all it says is "it's gorjuss". What are they referring to when they say "it"? It was pointless to add this stamp. In general, the stamps all ink up nicely and stamp firmly on several different types of paper. I stamped several of these images on thick cardstock, thin cardstock and even textured watercolor paper. Outstanding quality and selection in this set for a great price!

I really love that this set has images that can be used together or in conjunction with other stamps. For example, the frame stamp will work great with any image...even one I just draw by myself! The packaging of this brand is so pretty, too.
