Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance Plus Winter 215/55R17 98V XL Passenger Tire

I was glad to find these tires at a pretty decent price. And very glad to have Walmart plus subscription cover the shipping. I've driven a Nissan Juke in interior and southcentral Alaska for 7 years now. I've never had “legit winter tires” before this year- just good all-seasons. A few times each winter I have experienced some degree of slide at intersections and when stopping. (Never when starting out because the Juke is great for what Mother Nature dishes out in Alaska) This week we've had a crazy warm spell that melted the top layers of snowpack on all the roads combined with rain - effectively making us all drive on wet ice, like when a Zamboni goes around an ice rink but the water hasn't quite frozen yet and so much shine you can almost see your reflection. Not a single bit of slide. I am extremely impressed in the performance of these tires. More importantly I feel SAFE which is a feeling that cannot be topped. Thank for offering a great product at a pretty reasonable price.
