We have been very impressed with your harnesses. When our chocolate lab puppy grew out of the first one we bought we decided to get another. We like this brand of harness because they seem like they would be much more comfortable for the dog. It lasted almost 2 days and the little chomped chewed through the strap on both sides. Maybe after he is done teething we will try again.

This is the best we've tried, and we've tried a lot of harnesses. Our dog has a problem with pulling and choking as well as escaping. She can still choke herself with this harness if she really gets excited or scared and we don't get her out of the situation fast enough, but it's much better than it was in the past. I think the squeezing action helps with the pressure-and-release communication with the dog. Our dog isn't particularly sensitive that way, and still responds better to voice commands, but it helps somewhat. She usually ignores leash pressure entirely. I did have one instance where she managed to back out of this harness, but there was a gate swinging shut in her face, so I'm kind of glad she did manage it that time. I think it might have been because she has been on a diet and the harness needed to be tightened to compensate for the lost weight.
