Another feature that I wanted was the ability for the power station to handle some of the outdoor weather events on a mild/moderate scale. The tinted plastic covers appear tough enough to handle many years of use...being mindful they are plastic. The app is a nice feature allowing you to see many of the digital parameters without having to be close to the equipment. I've only used it during a recent power outage but it handled my immediate needs without a problem. I purchased the additional 12 volt recharging cord.
