This create is wonderful. I actually returned this specific one, but only because it was too big for my 5 pound chihuahua and my Kia's back seat. I immediately ordered the extra small and love, love, love it. Daisy has room to move around, but can still snuggle in her blanket and chew her bone. She can stand up and walk around and the pad that came with it is very soft. I can't say where or not it's sturdy because my dog is almost 15 years old and quite content to lay around. She hasn't tried to escape at all. She's also calm and not able to chew anything. I will say the straps to hold the window and door flaps are a little awkward, but I'm absolutely thrilled with this crate!

Love this! Perfect size for my 40 lb pup. She has anxiety problems and needs a comforting space of her own. The side flaps cover up the window screens which works well for her because she doesn't feel safe being "exposed". Great quality for the price and even comes with a travel bag to pack it in.
