It's constructed of 100 percent cotton fabric that's made from many small fine yarns woven in a fashion that makes them very soft. These Gerber cloth diapers are a gauze material that is generally softer, dries faster and is more absorbent than Birdseye. They are pre-folded for ease of use. This cloth diaper pack is available in a package of five so there is plenty to use. They're rated number one by moms and boast 6-ply construction for absorbency.

I make Burp Cloths for gifts for newborns. The gauze diapers just don't make it. I like these diapers but am going to try the ones in the store that are 3 ply (these are 6 ply). The price of these 3 ply cloth diapers is less than half the 6 ply cloth diapers

I use these as burp cloths, not as diapers. They are a heavy weight material that is folded over so each side is two layers and the middle third is three layers. Absorbs well and launders fine. Does come out of the dryer a little rumpled, but I don't think they shrank any - measure 13x18 after laundering.
