The fit is true to size and width. The design is very masculine and rugged, yet very stylish and comfortable. They are like a jet black silhouette in the Moonlight. They go very well with a nice pair of jeans. The combine weight of the boot, the quality of the full grain leather and how it was built, make ones feet and ankles feel protected, plus the the gore-tex membrane and thinsulate material, absolutely, without a doubt, keep the feet warm and 100 % dry, no matter how wet the climate is.

I work construction up North and wear the logging boots during the warmer months. However I needed a boot that gripped the ice better and provided a bit more warmth. The 200 gram Thinsulate combined with the Vibram soles are just what I needed. The heel of the tread is also more "fluid" for me to walk in as it "rocks" a bit feeling less clunky than the loggers.
