George Men's and Big Men's Wrinkle Resistant Pleated Twill Pants

My George’s cotton twill pants arrived wrinkled as expected with any clothing shipment. The moment I removed them from the packaging I was very positively impressed with the feel of the fabric. The smooth feel of the fabric is what I would expect from pants at a higher price. . Walmart is selling them on rollback for only $14. This is 100% cotton twill that is “wrinkle resistant” and Scotchgard treated. These are really comfortable and I look forward to wearing them often. The front pockets are nice and deep, and the rear pockets are nicely finished and have button closures. As with all 100% cotton, proper care should be observed when laundering and I expect to touch them up with an iron. That is the trade-off of 100% cotton versus permanent press and synthetics. To me, well worth ironing to have the comfort and breathability. My experience with this kind of material is that it is extremely durable if you care for it properly. I do have to shorten them, but then again I have to shorten almost every pair of pants I buy. Walmart describes them as nice everyday pants. I would upgrade that to nice casual slacks. I would wear these pants with a nice shirt to go out to dinner with my wife and with a sport jacket to attend the Dallas Symphony and other local shows. Nobody would suspect how inexpensive they are. I will definitely add more of these in additional colors to my closet. I expect them to become a “staple” of my wardrobe.

My husband is hard to fit. He is tall but has a short inseam. These slacks fit him very nicely and he says that they are very comfortable. They have a natural pleat in the front and hang nicely. It was 81 degrees when he had them on and he said that they kept him cool. At first he thought he was going to be too hot in them! The belt loops are very sturdy and there are enough of them. They are easily found when using a belt. They are constructed well and the zipper is strong. When washed properly, they did not shrink and retained their neat appearance. And, the color did not fade. He tried very hard to wrinkle the pants but they stayed wrinkle free in spite of his efforts! I would highly recommend these slacks as casual and dress wear.
