I like them a lot

These shorts hang below the knee. I ordered 4 pair of these in 2021. I ordered another in 2022 BUT the design had changed and the IT pocket was in front of the seam on the right leg. When you walked, your telephone would bounce against your leg. I hated that. In 2023 the design was changed back to the original design with the IT pocket in back of the seam on the right leg. More comfortable when walking. The other design change is the tie strings on both legs (remember these are called messenger shorts where they are tied to keep them out of the bicycle mechanisms) are asbsent.

I have 5 pair...

I'm 6'4" with a 38" inseam. These shorts hit me mid-knee standing. They are a little stretchy, fine with me, and the fabric, though not as sturdy as the last of these, will likely stand up to a few seasons of golf course wear and washings. The color is classic khaki, but the cell phone pocket is, like other shorts, in a bad spot for sitting. I have to lean far to get to my phone, and the bag pockets are not going to live long, Use the cargo pockets for keys and money.
