Essential tool
As a retired union pipefitter having used Rigid Tristand vises for many years, I can honestly say there is a reason these are on every union job. They are sturdy, extremely long lasting and a fabricators best friend. You either have one or you need one. I just had to have one for my own personal use. Don't settle for anything but a Rigid, they're the best!!!

Haven't used it much yet, seems to be of ridgid quality. It's not made in the USA only assembled here shame on Ridgid! It is much more convenient(and lighter) then the 1/8-6" model. I would recommend this if you never use pipe larger the 2.5"
