I used it on top of an acrylic nail to make it stronger and boy howdy does it! Mine might be a little more difficult to work with as my house is on the chillier side and makes it thicken more but it mostly evens out. Being a beginner I did have to do a lot of sanding afterwards but the product worked as intended
