Garden of Life Organic Plant-Based Protein Powder, Chocolate, 20g Protein Shake Drink, Vegan, Probiotics, Digestive Enzymes, 20oz​

I like the 20g of protein per scoop but do not care for taste, very muted but sometime protein powders you have to trade off one item for another and I don't drink these for the taste but for protein. Would be a good add in with a recipe or smoothie. Mixes well while shaking up. Would recommend despite the taste.

I mainly use this as a meal replacement, breakfast mainly, since I'm diabetic and need to control how much food I intake. I normally drink diabetic shakes (all types you can find on here) and although they do work, they tend to leave me feeling bloated, gassy, and with a nasty after taste. ALL of them, even the top "Dr.recommended" one. This shake does not. Does it have sugar? No. Low carbs? Yes, Does it fill you up for a few hours? Yes. Low calorie? definitely yes. Is it easy to prepare, pretty much. The problem I have with it is the taste. It is pretty weak, not really a rich chocolatey flavor, more like a chocolate flavored-ish water. It dissolves pretty easily in water, I tried using almond milk as it is suggested and it was not as good as it sounded. The texture changed dramatically. Was it "richer" than plain water yes, better flavor, no. Did it disolve as fast? NO. Would I recommend, yes if you dont mind the flavor. As i stated so far, no bloating or gas to report.
