Formulated with Magnesium Hydroxide, Phillips’ Milk of Magnesia provides cramp and stimulant free relief of occasional constipation. (The product usually produces a bowel movement in 30 minutes to 6 hours). This milk of magnesia liquid laxative works with the body’s natural process to relieve occasional constipation. To use, adults and children 12+ take 30-60 mL, children 6-11 take 15-30 mL and ask a doctor for children under 6 years old. Dose may be taken once a day preferably at bedtime, in divided doses, or as directed by a doctor. Drink a full glass (8 oz) of liquid with each dose. Consult your doctor if you need to use the laxative for more than a week. Constipation, or irregularity, is a condition in which stools pass more slowly than usual through the bowels (intestines). This can occur when too much water is removed from the stools and they become hardened. i prefer the Great Value cherry flavor milk of magnesium, but unfortunately another great product removed. the Phillips is sickening sweet, the Great Value wasnt so sweet. the results from Great Value were just as good if not better than Phillips. wish Wal-Mart would bring it back.

I had never used this brand until I was in the hospital. it worked very well. I think I have a tendency to get constipated easily from my medicine. I've tried various brands. My doctor put me on a diuretic and that really got me more constipated. This worked for me without giving me diarrhea.

1st you all need just a little look at me… *** Especially concerning anything related to the human body %26 our health. *** If I take my time to form a review, it does take a lot out of me but you can count on the fact that I am very truthful. Always praying to help the next person. I choose to believe that through my sufferings, I am given the chance to pass my knowledge along. You could say, “I am in the know” naturally when concerning health issues. I have always suffered physically since a child. This year I will be a 48 year young blessed mother of 2 wonderful men. Back in the day when I could handle my health issues I was able to conquer Nursing School. I was very blessed to work as a Nurse for 10 wonderful years. At this point in my life, I am currently shouldering 8 different Autoimmune Diseases %26 tons of other health issues. The worst hands down is a dx of Multiple Sclerosis in my early 20's. (I topped out with the highest MS DMT 6 yrs. ago) Then on to Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Dysautonomia, CRPS, Sjogren's, Hashimoto's… the list goes on %26 on. I am still sane due to a strong faith. I am on over 20 prescription meds by mouth, 4 OTC meds, 2 injectable's %26 2 infusions through my PowerPort. I see bunches of specialists. Grrr. Including a Gastroenterologist. I am on doc meds for my chronic constipation but I still require extra help. Tried several OTC that failed. My parents told me about this Phillips' M.O.M. %26 it works!!!!! Plus the cherry flavor is not bad! I am very impressed with it! Hopefully it will help you too!
