We bought the LG 5.5 Top Load a week ago and haven't had any issues. We've washed 8 loads of laundry so far and unlike other reviews the washer is very quiet and adds plenty of water in the tub to get the clothes clean. My wife is so happy that she finally has a washer she likes…keeping our fingers crossed that we don't have the issues like the other reviews.

I am disappointed in the water levels. Sometimes the clothes are not even covered with water. I have to stay in the laundry room for each load to see if the water level is correct and if not, correct it. Also, the manual I was given when the washer was installed, was useless. It covered how to install the washer and not information on using it

Excellent washer with a deep tub.
Overall, very pleased with the quality and performance. Note: 5.5 cu ft is a deep tub washer so if you're short, then you will have difficulty reaching the bottom. That said, having such a large tub is awesome for king comforters, dog beds, and other large volume items.
