Glide floss sticks not waxy enough

I’ve always used these floss sticks by Glide and never had a problem. I have very tight teeth so Glide is the only floss product I can use successfully. I just bought this new big bag, thinking it would last me a long time. Unfortunately, I am going through them rapidly as I am having to use two at a time because the wax that usually keeps them gliding between my tight teeth is wearing off before I’m through and then getting stuck and shredding between my teeth. I have to use another one to remove the frayed floss and finish cleaning my teeth. I’m not sure if this is just this batch or if there’s been a change in manufacturing.

Is the newer tech just cheapened?

These “new technology” ones are worse than the last newer glides. I have to use 3 or 4 opposed to one or two as they break, loosen, and shred in between my tight teeth. Around my teeth get sore, but I just started using them so wonder if the supposed newer tech may reach further into my gum line. Still better than the cheap ones, but very frustrated

Returning for refund. We have used these and only these for years %26 this "new design" is cheap %26 awful. No longer smooth or well made. Another company trying to take the cheapskate way out %26 believe me, they will see their sales decline immediately. Awful product.
