Beautiful and quiet—I love my new tub filler

This Moen 695 was such a surprise in a very good way. The water stream is beautiful—yes, beautiful and has no spray or splash and is therefore very quiet. I could fill my tub and never waken a sleeping spouse in adjacent room even with the door open! The temperature and flow control are so easy to operate and provide a full range of both temperature and flow. I haven't tried the sprayer because the spray head came up missing when it was the time to install

Spray diverter not working upon install

Looks like this is a common problem. Plumber installed today and the handheld diverter will not work. Water in the line but will not come out. We thought it was just a cap but that's not the case. Not sure why Moen isn't doing quality control if this is a common issue to prevent the hassle for buyers. After going through a long exhausting remodeling this is just really disappointing. I wanted quality brand to avoid issues.

Pretty, but handheld part leaks

Installed a year or so ago. From day 1, if you use the handheld part, it continues to drip water for days. Mine is between tub and wall and it's not easy to get in there to mop up the water. And I don't understand how water comes up and out the holes despite gravity!
