Sleep timer!
I ordered this to replace our TV remote after the dog chewed it up. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles, but what we DID need was a remote with a sleep function! This one has it and for a great price. It was easy to program and now my husband doesn't complain that I left the TV on all night.

It found my device codes!
I was able to program both my tv and dvdr/vcr with it. After programming it, I had to figure out which buttons were the dvd menu and scene selection. It wasn't the standard fwd and selection buttons. But now that I know I re labeled it and am glad it is working.
