My daughter loved this Queen of the Seas pirate costume. The costume has a few colors (white, red, and black) but the red really makes it pop. This is a dress with an embedded vest and a fluffy skirt in red, white and black. The costume comes with a red bandana. The sleeves are right at the elbow. It is comfortable to wear, and my daughter is going to be adding an auburn wig with long tresses to it. She has been using around the house, just because, as she cannot wait for Halloween. My daughter usually wears XL in kids' sizes, and this outfit fits perfect. You need to purchase matching boots and a sword to finish the outfit. Only con is that it is very glittery, and it will be losing glitter all over. She still loves it.

My niece loves to dress up any day of the year and she has tons of princess dresses and shoes and crowns, etc. I wanted to get her something different from her usual princess outfits. I gave this to her and she loved it, but when I braided her hair in a bunch of pirate braids, put eyeliner, funky hose, and the perfect shoes, she went crazy for it and she looked so cute! She looked like a real pirate girl and although the costume is nicely made and it fit her well, the accessories and hairstyle made the outfit look that much better! Also, if she wants to wear it to Halloween, she can, so that's double the reason I got it for her!
