Fuel Pureformance Adjustable Wrist/Ankle Weights, 5-Pound Pair (10 lb total)

The CAP Fuel Performance Adjustable Wrist/Ankle Weights are pretty good overall. When both are filled with all 10 pounds, they definitely take your workouts up a notch. You'll feel your legs working harder even during simple activities like walking, yoga, leg lifts, or step-ups—so you're definitely getting the workout you're looking for. The only downside is the straps. They don't hold the weights securely in place, which causes them to slip and need frequent readjustment.

This product is built very strangely. Everything appears high-quality, except for the few things that actually matter and hold the weights together. The fabric appears solid, and the velcro straps are remarkably strong, but the fact that I'm writing this review on the second day of use says a lot about the quality of the product. They fit very nicely if your wrist/ ankle circumference is 10 inches or more, but for anyone on the skinny side (for reference, I'm 6'0", 145lbs) they have to be tightened like crazy and still move around a bit. On the second day of use, one of the cheap plastic loops that holds these things in place snapped like paper maché during the tightening process. I'm still able to use these because I can replace the loops with metal, but it's only a matter of time before the single sewing stitch that attaches the straps to the (very sturdy and breathable) fabric comes apart. Overall, the product might be feasible for long-term use if you're prepared to replace some of the parts; but for the vast majority of people, it's better to buy a higher-quality alternative.
