If you are expecting traditional potato salad you will be disappointed. This taste like a loaded baked potato. i think some expect the potatoes in thier potato salad to be crunchy, perhsps your mother madd it that way, unfortunately for you, most of us dont. The potatos in this are thoroughly cooked

This potato salad is really good. I got this potato salad and the loaded potato salad, mixed them together in a red party bowl to take to the July 4th cookout. Everybody raved about it and wanted the recipe. I told them what I had done and they said they would buy the two types from Walmart and mix them together as I had done. I told them I had not had time to make anything homemade, and that is true! We all had a laugh.

Mayo Overkill

Too much mayonnaise for my liking. I would still recommend it to others who prefer a more overbearing mayonnaise taste in there potato salad though. I thought, "loaded", meant, it was loaded with ingredients......not loaded with mayonnaise.
