I normally wear a large. That turned out to be too small. Order a size up. Very pretty fabric. Slightly shiny, falls gracefully. Fairly thick. I really wanted to use this as a slip. It's a surprisingly heavy fabric, which is nice for a winter weight slip, tho curious for a summer dress. It is longer than most dresses, so if you want to use it as a slip, you may want to hem it. It's held on by tying the straps in a bow in the back. This is also the only adjustment if you want to make the straps longer or shorter. Unfortunately, the bow can come undone, and the dress can fall off. I would recommend that, once you get the straps adjusted to the length you want, you sew a few stitches through the bow so it can't come untied. For the moment, I'm trying the alternative of separating the two straps and tying them each to their respective loop with a hangman's noose, which hopefully won't come untied.
