Given as a gift to my 3-year-old and 5-year-old grandsons as this Size 3 is intended for the younger set, 8 and under, and is considered best for them to learn basic skills with as it is sized better to match their hands and feet than the larger ones. It looks correct-sized as they're kicking it - working on their soccer dribbling skills, right? :) - and it's easy for them to grasp and toss. I like getting the smaller size because I think that learning the correct mechanics of a sport on sports equipment that's better matched to body size can really help well for skill building as kids first start learning and as they get older.
