This gate is solid and sturdy unlike any I've seen before. I love the width and the fact that it is free standing and can be stepped over. We have an Eskimo Spitz. The height of the gate is just enough that he doesn't try to jump it nor does he push it out of his way. We have had it for three weeks now and this gate is perfect. I love it so much I ordered two more!
