These are great

Since these can detect motion, they allow the Ecobee thermostat to know what to room people are in, so the set temp is where they are. Minimum heat is maintained in the coolest room, if your in there, which does mean the warmer room, no one is in, will be a bit warmer. You can help that by closing or partially closing the vent in the room your leaving for a while.

Thermostat Sensors

I have the Ecobee thermostat since May. Now with it being cold I was having trouble keeping the tempature comfortable. I got enough sensors to have in every room and the balance they provide for the thermostat has solved the problem of those rooms with west exposure that had a different temp tha internal rooms. It has improved teh satisfaction of the Ecobee thermostat. I recommend the thermostat and getting the sensors to go with it.
