Fun rug that everyone loves

I replaced an old rug with this and while it looks decent and gives the area character, the "fur" is a little thin and very plastic-y feeling which is unpleasant to me. It's also VERY light and on my tile floors it slides all over the place even with a rug pad under it. I'm waiting for rug gripper fasteners to be delivered so that I can try mounting it to the floor. All in all if you're looking at very inexpensive rugs this one looks good, is decently large, and does it's job. It's just very obviously an inexpensive rug.

I think I am on my fourth rug. They are surprisingly soft and thick. They are very hard to clean. I have a 3 and 5 year old. One threw up on the first rug, one has a pooping incident on the 2nd, 3rd rug end up with sticker burs in it. With all that aside… I love this rug. I have a new one in the box just waiting for me to put it in their room!
