Poor Faucet Design
Faucet has both sensor and manual hand held control, and sensor is operated through 6 AA batteries. If batteries are done entire faucet will be shutdown leaving household with our water supply. As the sensor operation is not the main function it should not shut off entire faucet functionality, it should have manual override option to use with manual hand held control. It's just a poor and careless design, leaving owners with the struggles. Decided to write the review as despite the poor design MOEN still selling the product with out providing proper fix. ***it was choose by builder, learned about the issue after closing leaving us with replacement costs***

Hello Mannava and thank you for your opinion and feedback you posted on the Moen website. The Moen Align MotionSense Wave One-Handle High Arc Pulldown Kitchen Chrome Faucet does require power to operate. The faucet includes a battery pack and six AA alkaline batteries to power the faucet. The six AA alkaline batteries should last about a year with normal everyday operation; the sensor will start flashing to indicate the batteries need to be replaced. An optional AC adapter with power splitter; sold separately part number 169031 is also available to power the faucet

Great till failed
Faucet worked great for a month. Then this morning it won't come on. Can't even manually override it so my kitchen is without water. Called the troubleshooting line; three hours later still waiting for them to return my call.
