Excellent BBQ

When I first read the directions on this BBQ packet, I thought oh no, I need more ingredients than just this packet. Instant turn off for me, because I like quick and easy. But I went ahead and added the few extra ingredients and it really wasn't a big deal. Threw my roast in and let my crock pot do the rest! It smelled excellent while cooking. When it was done, I just shredded the meat and threw on buns. My family all LOVED it! I think it's the best BBQ packet we have tried. I would definitely buy again and not feel badly about having to spend 5 extra minutes digging out the few extra ingredients.

Loved this! Time saver! 5 stars!

I received a complementary sample in exchange for an honest review and let's be honest there is no better spice blend than McCormick's. So it was absolute pleasure to come here and write a review based on my experience. I think that the slow cooker blend is by far the best because the spices all seep down into the food so it makes it more flavorful than ever. This is definitely a time saver, because who wants to try to figure out the measurements for a perfect tasty meal? If you're looking for a packet, that is going to make your food flavorful and delicious - Definitely check this out.

So easy!

So, to start with, McCormick sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program to see what I thought of their Slow Cooker BBQ Pulled Pork seasoning mix. One thing I loved off the bat was there are instructions for a slow cooker AND an electric pressure cooker. I'm a huge fan of a pressure cooker so I gave it a shot. All I had to do was mix up the seasoning packet with the ketchup, brown sugar and vinegar and set it aside while I browned my meat(I used 3lb of tried pork butt). Then I put it all im together and set it cook for an hour. It ws a huge hit with the kids and they especially loved helping with shredding the meat after. I would definitely recommend this.
