At time of this writing, the hoses have only been in place since last night. Everything seems fine, connected to a splitter at the source, then my garden hose, then a dual zone timer, which connects to the new hoses. Hooking up to the timer was simple, and the connections appear well-made. A little hard to lay out the hoses, due to the way it is presented in a softly rolled state, but not terrible. Water soaks out as expected all along the length of the hose, as long as there are no kinks, twists or hard bends, which need to be corrected. Recommend the following: Include mini-tutorial on how to use soaker hoses for this or that type of garden, and hose care and maintenance information. Include appropriate hold-down plastic or stakes or staples, maybe as an optional choice. All the parts that I can see appear well-enough made, and seem to function as advertised. I gave the product only 4 stars because of my need for user guide. I hope I will be able to keep the product, and will not find major issues down the road.

Disappointing

I was very disappointed with the quality of this item. Even at half price, I would never buy it again. The flat soaker hose has a tendency to twist and cut off the flow of water. It is not something that's reliable. Instead of getting a flat soaker hose, get a round one made from rubber.. You will be happy with that instead of this.
