Frank's RedHot Kosher Hot Buffalo Wings Hot Sauce, 12.0 fl oz Bottle

I wasn't sure what to expect when I was chosen by Buzzagent to try McCormick's (you know,the famous spice brand) new Grill Mates Applewood Rub. Was it a liquid? Did it come in a single serve pouch? Neither! It comes in a 6 oz spice container so you can either sprinkle a little bit or pour out a lot. Well,I decided to try it on pork chops-fresh,thick, boneless chops with just a bit of fat. I went for the big shebang and poured out enough to totally coat all four of those babies. I just wet the chops a bit and patted dry with paper towels. Then I pressed each of them into the small pile of the rub-each side and all around the edge until they were completely covered. Into a 350° oven they went for 20 minutes. Then I flipped them and they cooked about 20 more minutes (these were THICK chops!) When I took them out I was surprised to see that the rub had crusted over and was crispy and glistening a bit. So how did it taste? Well,it's going to be in the regular rotation of meals from now on. That first bit was so juicy and rich-spicy but not hot. So satisfying and full flavored,my husband thought I made it from scratch! It made a great cut of meat a gourmet affair,imagine what miracles it will perform on lesser cuts?!? I think I'm going to try it on a flank steak tonight... can't wait!

As a BzzAgent I received this rub for free to try and review from the McCormick brand. Thank you! I used the rub to make ribs and it was a huge hit! It gave the ribs a smoky, savory, slightly sweet flavor…..delicious. I liked how the rub is almost a fine powder that helps to coat crevices or hard to reach areas. I have really enjoyed trying this product and I would recommend this to friends and family.
