Add Jasmine rice to your rice salads or try it in one of our savory Asian recipes. Crafted to separate evenly after cooking, the rice won't clump up in any stir fry or fried rice dish and will easily absorb your favorite seasonings.

Instructions
To retain vitamins, do not rinse before or drain after cooking. Cooking Directions on the Stove: 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil. To make 4 (3/4 cup cooked) servings (3 cups), use 1 cup rice and 1-1/2 cups water. To make 8 (3/4 cup cooked) servings (6 cups), use 2 cup rice and 3 cups water. To make 12 (3/4 cup cooked) servings (9 cups), use 3 cups rice and 4-1/2 cups water. For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. 2. Stir in rice. Add 1 Tbsp. tub margarine and 1 tsp. salt per cup cooked rice, if desired. 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Cooking Directions in the Microwave*: 1. In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 1-3/4 cups water and 1 cup rice. Add 1 Tbsp. tub margarine and 1 tsp. salt per cup cooked rice, if desired. 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce setting to 50% power, microwave for 10 minutes. *It is recommended that only 1 cup rice be prepared in the microwave at a time. Microwave ovens vary. Cooking times are approximate.
