I didn't need the antenna with my tv set up. I only opened box to see if and inside damage case outside was damaged. I returned it to Walmart and g ot a refund. they examined the item while I was there by my request for any damage to item.

I had to go out and buy pole to attach antenna to. Too expensive. There was a cheaper one that was complete including pole but you had to attach antenna rods in addition to rotating bracket. I'm sorry I didn't read the description before I hit the purchase button.

My old antenna didn't work after Hurricane Helene so I ordered this and placed it on a 30 foot mast. I am within 80 miles of the local channels and they all come in very well. I haven't had any glitches in the video and have not needed to use the rotator once I pointed it in the correct direction. I did an auto scan on the TV and got 38 channels. The one issue that I had was that the antenna would not mount onto the mast because it was too large in diameter. I had to take a piece of schedule 40 PVC pipe and fastened it inside the mast with bolts and then the antenna mounted perfectly. I have not had rain since I installed it, so I don't know if that might interfere with the quality of the signal. It feeds two TV sets. I am very pleased so far and am hopeful it will continue to work well for years.
