Fiskars 8" Graduate Designer

I bought this product back in January of '12. It lasted about 16 months and a few sewing projects. It cut fabric nicely but the handle broke way too easily. (It fell off my craft desk and onto my carpeted floor - once) If you want a pretty pair of scissors to look at, these are your pair. If you are looking for a pair of scissors to use and take a little beating, keep looking.

I bought these Fiskars scissors knowing that they are generally good quality and when I cut fabrics or other crafting things I wanted to have a quality scissor to use. I bought this one so that it stood out differently from the normal orange handle one's so that my family wouldn't take them to use on other household items and them misplace them. I guess I should have gotten the regular orange handle ones because the handle on these ones just cracked in my hands while trying to cut a basic soft home décor trim. :( Waste of money.
