Excellent for hot flashes.

I bought these specifically to help with hair shedding (I don't think I was losing any extra hair to begin with, but since I am up there in age these days, I wanted to do what I can to help prevent overly excessive hair loss). These pillow cases are very nice, very soft. Until now, I had never owned any silk. Packaged exceptionally well. Even came with 2 pillow case bags for washing. I was not expecting that. Needless to say, that was a nice surprise. I live where the summer months are exceptionally hot. These help keep my head cool especially when I am having a hot flash. I am not breaking out in a rash on my neck area like I did with satin pillow cases. For me these are well worth the money. I hand wash them on cold in their bags and drip dry. They are wrinkled when they come out of the machine and after drip drying, but I don't care about that. "Looks" wasn't the reason why I bought these. I bought these specifically for hair shedding and helping with my hot flashes while I sleep. These pillow cases have succeeded....especially in the hot flash department.

Type 4 hair needed a bonnet break!

I did machine wash first on gentle with a baby shampoo as directed it didn't shrink or loose the sheen. My purchase arrived beautifully packaged Oct. 20, 2024 I ordered the taupe color. The quality is superior. I know it's only been a couple of days I just had to say something now. My hair is Type 4 natural and I have not noticed any breakage or extreme tangles or knots on this pillow case. If you know then you really over stand this statement I was looking for a break in wearing a bonnet because I was sweating a lot where my bonnet was placed on my forehead so now if I decide to let my scalp and hair get air at night at least I can with out guilt! The price was a little crazy for one pillow case I hope can get another one on discount, clearance or a very good sale in the future however if this holds up I would splurge for another one in October my birthday month. I hope this review helps someone make the decision to try, so far I am impressed 😁. The photo was after I slept on it.. real life of tossing and turning squeezing my pillow..the case wrinkles as it should my hair was not pulled or left on the case it is very comfortable and soft to my skin.
